Jefferson led 18-13 at halftime. Sequoia (4-1, 0-1) went up 20-18 after a 36-yard touchdown pass from Frank Mems to Isaias Flores, but Jefferson came back with 24 unanswered points to take a 42-20 lead into the fourth quarter.

Akeem Bryant scored three touchdowns for Jeff, on runs of 19 and 6 yards and on a 22-yard fumble return. Mems rushed for a game-high 111 yards for Sequoia and scored two touchdowns.
